Utpanna Ekadashi is an opportunity to please Lord Vishnu as well as fulfill our duties towards the needy people. This day is imbued with the spirit of service and charity and on this day we can follow our religion by contributing to providing food to the poor, helpless and disabled children. It is believed that helping the needy brings blessings of God and this virtuous act leads to the path of salvation.
Donation has been considered very auspicious in the Sanatan tradition. It is mentioned in many religious texts. It is said by Goswami Tulsidas Ji –
तुलसी पंछी के पिये घटे न सरिता नीर।
दान दिये धन ना घटे जो सहाय रघुवीर।।
(“Just as the river’s water does not decrease when birds drink from it, similarly, with God’s blessings, giving away wealth through donation never depletes one’s own store of riches.”)
On the auspicious occasion of Utpanna Ekadashi, become a part of virtue by helping in the service project of providing food to needy and disabled children and make your life full of service and charity.
Your donation will help provide meals to needy, differently-abled children.
