In the Sanatan tradition, Kharmas, also known as Malmas, is considered a highly sacred and important month. This year, it will begin on December 15, 2024, and last until January 14, 2025. During this period, religious activities hold special significance, while auspicious ceremonies are postponed. This month is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and worshiping Him, along with performing acts of charity, is of great importance.
Kharmas is referred to as the month of purity and service. The good deeds and charity done during this time not only bring happiness and prosperity to our lives but also purify our souls. According to scriptures, helping the needy and distressed during this period is considered the highest form of righteousness.
