Kriparam Gupta, a resident of Kudwan village in Mirzapur district, Uttar Pradesh, and his family went through a very difficult time when their son was born six years ago with crooked and twisted toes. Despite consulting several doctors, none could provide any concrete treatment or solution.
One day, a relative of Kriparam informed him about Narayan Seva Sansthan, a Udaipur-based organization that provides special treatment and services free of cost to individuals suffering from physical disabilities. Kriparam immediately decided to take his son Ankit, and traveled to Udaipur.
Upon reaching the hospital at Narayan Seva Sansthan, doctors thoroughly examined Ankit’s legs and recommended surgery. The first surgery on his left foot was successfully completed, and a month later, the second surgery on his right foot was performed. After both surgeries, Ankit visited Narayan Seva Sansthan 5 to 7 times, and with the help of special boots, gradual improvement was seen in the structure of his feet. During the entire process, Narayan Seva Sansthan’s specialists and physiotherapists paid special attention to the changes in Ankit’s feet.
After about eight months of hard work and patience, the day finally came when Ankit was able to stand on his feet. Tears of joy filled Kriparam’s eyes. There was a new sense of confidence on Ankit’s face, and his feet had become stronger and straighter.
The family thanked the doctors and donors of Narayan Seva Sansthan, whose efforts and dedication gave their son a new life. They said that Narayan Seva Sansthan’s efforts not only gave Ankit the ability to walk but also the strength to pursue his dreams.
