Buta Singh and his family were living a happy life in Kishangarh Farwahi, Mansa district, Punjab. He worked in a company, and everything was going well until a tragic event changed their lives. On May 28, 2023, Buta Singh was injured in a serious tractor accident while returning home from work at night. With the help of local people, he was taken to the hospital, where his family was informed of the sad news. The accident caused him great pain, as he lost his right leg.
Amid his wife and family’s tears, Buta Singh felt he had lost all happiness and had to live with crutches. Someone recommended that he get an artificial leg in Jaipur. He tried it, but it was heavy and uncomfortable. Then, on July 21, a friend told him about Narayan Seva Sansthan’s free prosthetic limb camp in Ludhiana. At the camp, his measurements were taken, and three months later, he was given a light and comfortable Narayan Limb.
Now, with the new artificial limb, Buta Singh can walk easily and has regained the happiness he had lost. None of this would have been possible without the support of Narayan Seva Sansthan and its generous donors. Buta Singh is now moving forward in life with independence and new dreams. He is very thankful to the Sansthan for giving him a new chance at life.
